Let me tell you what weaning down from Plaquenil is like. I believe it is like any other drug, side effects can and do happen, but they are very individualized. I would like to be able to keep taking plaquenil, I just want to reduce my dose by half. I had no idea it was going to so profoundly impact me, and I guess I feel like I need to understand why.
